I am David Raulston, Owner of Humble Beast Strength. My love for strength training started in middle school, while playing various sports like baseball, football, basketball, and wrestling. After school, a group of friends and I would head over to the high school gym where we began our lifting journey. We were novices, to say the least, but the love for lifting was immediate and undeniable.

In high school, my lifting took on purpose, serving as preparation for wrestling and baseball seasons. I grew stronger, but my focus was seasonal rather than a lifelong commitment. This trend continued into my early college years until life's priorities shifted—marriage, family, and education took center stage, and I stepped away from the weights around the age of 21.

As an adult, my relationship with fitness was inconsistent, dabbling in everything from P90X to CrossFit, but nothing managed to stick long-term. Over time, I found myself in a cycle of gaining weight, feeling unwell, and lacking energy—until August 2022, when I hit a personal turning point. Frustrated with my health, I decided to invest in a gym membership, betting on the psychology that spending money would motivate attendance. I was right; it worked. I purchased a beginner's program, committed to waking up at 4:30 AM, getting to the gym, and transformed my health.

Now, two years later, I not only feel great but have also competed in multiple powerlifting events. This resurgence in passion for training led my son and me to open Humble Beast Strength. Our vision is clear: to guide others on their personal strength training journey, sharing the profound positive impact it's had on our lives. We're excited about the future, both for ourselves and for those we aim to help. We're all about creating lasting change and would love the chance to assist you in achieving your fitness goals.
